Terms of Service

Welcome to Lyxios, a Discord bot created to improve your community experience, currently deployed and validated on over 121 servers.

These Terms of Service (“ToS”) govern the use of the Lyxios bot. By adding Lyxios to your server or using any of its features, you explicitly agree to be bound by these conditions.

1. Use of the Bot

Lyxios is a free service intended for users meeting the minimum age required by Discord’s Terms of Service (13 years minimum, or 15 years depending on the legislation of your country, notably in France).

You agree to use Lyxios responsibly, in strict compliance with the rules established by the Discord platform and by the administration of your server.

2. Prohibited Behaviors

Using Lyxios for the following behaviors is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate sanctions (blacklist of the user or server):

Spam and Abuse

Using automated or repetitive commands with the aim of spamming, saturating APIs, or overloading Lyxios’ infrastructure.

Harassment and Threats

Using the bot (via interaction, economy, or moderation commands) to harass, intimidate, or threaten other users.

Illegal Activities

Using the bot to facilitate illegal or fraudulent activities or to promote illicit content according to applicable laws.

Unauthorized Modification

Attempting to modify, alter, reverse-engineer, or access without authorization the systems, databases, or source code of Lyxios.

3. Economy and Virtual Goods

Lyxios offers a virtual economy system including coins, “Luckyblocks”, and fragments. To ensure fairness among all our users, the following rules apply:

Virtual Value: Virtual currencies and items have no real monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for real money or refunded in any form.
Fair Play: Using exploits (bugs, duplication), automated scripts (self-bots, macros), or multiple accounts (double accounts/alts) to accumulate resources is strictly prohibited. Any proven abuse will result in a total reset of your economy and a ban from the bot’s features.
No Guarantee: Although we secure our databases, Lyxios does not guarantee the absolute permanence of inventories in the event of an unforeseeable critical crash or absolute necessity to rebalance the global economy.

4. Intellectual Property

Lyxios, its source code, its documentation, and all its exclusive features are the property of its developers. No part of the bot may be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.

The visual identity of Lyxios (logo, graphic charter) is the exclusive property of Xougui.

Prohibitions: Using the logo, modified or not, for the purpose of identifying another project (competing bot, server, website) is strictly prohibited.
Tolerances: Artistic fan creations (fanarts) are authorized and encouraged, provided they are not used for commercial or usurpatory purposes.

5. Limitation of Liability

Lyxios is provided “as is”, without any contractual guarantee of absolute availability (100% uptime) or performance. The development team cannot be held responsible for:

Service interruptions related to hosting (Xouxou Hosting) or the Discord API.
Data losses resulting from a technical failure.
Damages (e.g., server raid) resulting from poor configuration of bot permissions by the server administrator. You are solely responsible for the rights you grant to the application.

6. Updates to Conditions

We reserve the right to modify these terms of service to adapt to the evolution of the bot or the law.
